DIRECTOR OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION OPENS "TECHNICAL GUIDANCE TRAINING FOR CHRISTIAN EMIS FOR KANWIL ADMINS IN BALI"

Bali, (DBK)— Drs. Sudirman Simanihuruk, Director of Christian Education and Director General of Christian Community Guidance, delivered a speech and opened the "Technical Guidance Training for Christian EMIS for Kanwil Admins" at Dream of Aventus Hotel in Kuta, Bali.

In his speech, the Director of Christian Education stated that participants attending as representatives from the Regional Offices of the Ministry of Religious Affairs at the provincial, district, or city level are expected to follow this training carefully and attentively as part of their duties and responsibilities as Kanwil Admins in validating EMIS data.

Sudirman said, "Considering that this is the third activity related to EMIS and has been conducted in Region 1 (Kupang), Region 3 (Ambon), and today in Bali for the Kanwil level, I hope this activity can become a source of optimisation for EMIS data services at the district/city level to assist schools."

Since the accuracy and validity of data collection in Christian religious schools are influenced by the correctness of data input, Kanwil administrators have an important duty and responsibility to provide guidance and direction to school-level operators.

"This is important and needs our attention because it serves as a consideration in policymaking, improving the quality of education, budget allocation, and as a basis for funding such as BOS, PIP, other allowances, facilities, and infrastructure," emphasised Sudirman.

After delivering his speech, he expressed his hope that this activity, attended by 27 participants and lasting for three days, would be maximised to attend every session, from the speakers' guidance to group discussions. "So that this EMIS service application can function well and our education data can be accounted for," concluded Sudirman. (HZK)
