SOCIALIZATION THE IMPORTANCE OF UNDERSTANDING THE RULES OF FUNCTIONAL POSITIONS AND CREDIT NUMBERS FOR RELIGIOUS EXTENSION WORKERS

Director General of Christian Community Guidance, Jeane Marie Tulung, revealed the importance of socialization to better understand the preparation of credit numbers, functional positions, and transfer of positions as a religious extension. This was conveyed in the socialization of the regulation of the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform Number 1 of 2023 on functional positions and regulation of the State Personnel Agency Number 3 of 2023 on credit numbers, promotions, and levels of functional positions, which took place in Jakarta on Wednesday (13/02/2024).

In the event, 39 participants followed live (offline) and more than 500 participants followed online (online). Jeane Marie Tulung emphasized that a deep understanding of the regulations related to functional positions is very important for religious extension workers. This will help in the process of preparing credit numbers, promoting, and increasing the level of office without experiencing obstacles or unwanted delays. "I hope you follow this activity carefully; later, we consider you to be able to provide explanations and understanding to others as well," said Jeane Marie Tulung to the participants. Jeane Marie Tulung also stressed that the task of a religious counselor is a noble but also heavy one. "It must be realized that the work you undertake must have a positive impact on yourself, the organization you work for, and the people and communities you serve," he added. The regulations issued by the government aim to improve performance and welfare; therefore, Jeane Marie Tulung asked that religious extension workers be able to work professionally. "We are presented to carry out the task and mandate to be a blessing to many people for the honor and glory of God's name," concluded Jeane Marie Tulung. This socialization is expected to provide a better understanding to religious extension workers about their duties and responsibilities and motivate them to work more professionally in providing services to the community.
