THE SIGNS OF JESUS' RETURN: A PROPHETIC JOURNEY UNFOLDING IN ISRAEL

Imagine a world full of tension and dramatic change, where history, prophecy, and present-day reality meet in unexpected ways. This is the story of Israel, a small nation with a significant role in human history, and how the signs foretold in the Bible are beginning to emerge clearly before our eyes.

Today, the world is witnessing events that are shaking Israel, and many of us feel trapped in uncertainty. But could it be that all of this was predicted thousands of years ago? Let’s take a look at this emotionally compelling prophetic journey together.

Sign One: The Predicted Destruction of the Temple

It all began with a question from Jesus' disciples: "What will be the signs of Your second coming?" Instead of starting with a global war or even the Antichrist, Jesus pointed to the magnificent Jewish temple and said, "Not one stone will be left upon another." This seemed like an impossible prediction at the time. However, 40 years later, exactly as Jesus said, the Roman army invaded Jerusalem, burned the temple, and tore it apart stone by stone. The temple that once stood as the center of worship and a symbol of Jewish pride was gone.

But what’s even more shocking is that the Bible says this temple will one day be rebuilt. This reminder that, despite destruction, a greater hope is waiting on the horizon, is a powerful one. As written in Ezekiel, God will gather the people of Israel back to their land.

Sign Two: The Rebirth of Israel as a Nation

After nearly 2,000 years without a country, Israel rose again as an independent nation. On May 14, 1948, the Zionist dream came true: Israel became a nation once more. This was an event that had never happened before in the history of the world, exactly as it was prophesied. Not only did Israel rise as a nation, but it also rose with hope for a better future. Israel once again had its land, army, and government, something that seemed impossible after the great destruction in 70 AD.

Imagine, so many Jewish people scattered across the world, without a land or nation, and now they are back in the promised land. Something extraordinary happened, just as predicted. The Bible said, "I will take you, Israel, from among the nations, gather you from all countries, and bring you into your own land." That happened in 1948, and Israel now stands firm as a recognized nation in the world.

Sign Three: Jerusalem Under Israeli Control

Soon after Israel became a nation, prophecy scholars realized that another war in Israel was about to occur. This is because many of the signs of the end times take place in a Jewish-controlled Jerusalem. In 1948, Israel only controlled half of Jerusalem until the 1967 war, when they took full control of the city. This event set the stage for the next signs, which I believe are about to unfold before our eyes. In fact, sign number four is already beginning to happen as I speak. Look at this massive menorah made from a single block of pure gold. This menorah stands in Jerusalem today and was created according to the exact specifications given by God in the Bible for His ancient temple. Many Jews in Israel today are preparing to build a third temple, which is why they have recreated the temple menorah along with other items required for temple worship. They have even started breeding red heifers, which are one of the things required to purify the temple, as you will see shortly.

But despite these preparations, Israel has allowed Muslims to control the Temple Mount for political and security reasons. Why? Because they don’t want to trigger World War III, which ironically brings us to the war in Israel you’re seeing on the news today, and I believe this will lead to the next four signs on the timeline. Let me explain. Signs 6 through 8 concern a massive war that is going to take place in the Middle East. Bigger than anything we’ve ever seen before. But sign number five concerns what will happen just before this massive battle takes place. This is why I want to cover these signs first before I reveal sign number five because I think it will make more sense that way.

The War Leading to Great Events

Right now, we are witnessing increasing tension in Israel, which may lead to a massive war involving many nations. A war bigger than anything we’ve ever seen before. And these events won’t just change Israel’s fate, but the fate of the entire world. The signs from Scripture point out that Israel will face a great conflict with nations like Iran, Russia, and others. But this isn’t the end. The Bible also tells us that God will intervene. With His infinite power, He will defend Israel when these nations attack. In fact, God will trigger the largest earthquake in Israeli history, causing confusion among His enemies, making them attack one another instead of Israel. God will send rain, fire, and brimstone upon them.

The Final Victory: The Return of Jesus

Finally, after this battle, Jesus will return. He will come in all His glory and power, and when His feet touch the Mount of Olives, the mountain will split in two. His enemies will be destroyed, and Jesus will sit on the throne of David in Jerusalem, ruling the world for 1,000 years. This is the final victory—the victory we have all been waiting for since the beginning of time.

The End of the Prophetic Journey

From the destruction of the temple to the rebirth of Israel, to the great battle that will soon unfold, these signs show us that we are living in the midst of the fulfillment of extraordinary biblical prophecies. However, this is not the end of the story. There are still many signs yet to occur, and each step brings us closer to the return of Jesus.

With all that is happening in Israel and the world today, we are reminded to stay watchful, to prepare ourselves with firm faith, and to eagerly await the return of the King. What is happening in Israel is not just a history lesson; it is a prophetic journey unfolding right before our eyes.
