THE MASCOT FOR THE 14TH NATIONAL CHURCH CHOIR FESTIVAL (PESPARAWI) WILL BE LAUNCHED IN 2025 IN WEST PAPUA
Manokwari, (DBK)— Jeane Marie Tulung, the Director General of Christian Community Guidance, Ministry of Religious Affairs, and Jacob Fonataba, Acting Regional Secretary of West Papua Province, have officially announced Pit Sang Konduktor as the Mascot for the 14th National Church Choir Festival (Pesparawi) to be held in West Papua in 2025.
On Monday, May 13, 2023, the mascot was launched during a joint assembly of the ASN (State Civil Apparatus) of the West Papua Provincial Government at the Governor's Office courtyard.
Jacob Fonataba expressed gratitude to the Regional Pesparawi Development Board (LPPD) of West Papua Province and the national committee of the 14th Pesparawi for designing the mascot for the 14th National Church Choir Festival in 2025.
"Jacob expressed his deepest thanks and appreciation for all the efforts and hard work that went into creating the mascot for the 14th National Church Choir Festival in West Papua in 2025, allowing us to launch it together today."
The mascot launch was attended by Manokwari Regent Hermus Indou, the West Papua Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), Director of Christian Religious Affairs Amsal Yowei, Secretary of the Directorate General of Christian Community Guidance Johni Tilaar, Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of West Papua Province Lausen James Mayor, and the National Pesparawi Development Board (LPPN) management.
