Jayapura, December 1, 2023—the Director General of Christian Community Guidance of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia (Director General of Christian Guidance of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia), represented by the Director of Christian Affairs Rev. Dr. Proverbs Yowei, SE., M.Pd.K., conducted monitoring and evaluation of the 10.10 Programme in Jayapura city and Regency on Thursday, vember 30, 2023. The group also consists of the head of the Implementing Unit, Prof. Dr. Achmad Shaheed, M.Ag., head of General Affairs and BMN Directorate General of Christian Guidance, Kemenag RI Heince Onnie Wongkaren, SE., and analyst of cooperation of religious institutions, Directorate General of Christian Guidance, Ministry of Religion, Ri Arnold Brahmana. The delegation was received by the head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Papua Province, Rev. Klemens Taran, S.Ag., along with other administrative officials. The visit started at the Entrop Village Office, a pilot project of Moderation Village fostered by STAKPN Sentani. There, the group had a dialogue with the head of Entropy, Ray Wardiman Rahangmetan, S.STP, to discuss the potential that can be developed in the region. Afterwards, the group continued their visit to the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Papua Province and ended the trip at the State Protestant Christian College (STAKPN) in Sentani, Jayapura regency. The 10.10 Ditjen Bimas Kristen Kemenag Ri Programme consists of ten priority aspects, such as priority areas for religious development, digital service applications, public service incubation centres based on religious moderation, transformation of religious institutions, land grants for religious education services, opening new Christian religious education units, human resource development scholarships, moderation villages, reputable journals, and Christian religious cultural object assistance. In his direction, the director of Christian Affairs, Rev. Dr. Proverbs Yowei, said that the purpose of this monitoring is to see directly the implementation of the 10.10 programme in Jayapura. "We have to see how far progress has been made, what is lacking, and what will be a record for us," he said. The Head of the Implementing Unit of the Directorate General of Christian Guidance, Prof. Dr. Achmad Shahid, in explaining the religious moderation village programme, emphasised the importance of identifying changes in individual behaviour and towards well-being. "It needs video documentation of testimonials and expectations to measure the success of this programme," he explained. After the directive, the group listened to the presentation of the progress of the implementation of the programme from the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Papua. In each exposure session, the DG team provides notes and input for improvement, with the hope that the programme objectives can be realised to the maximum.
