OPENING OF TWO MAJOR PROGRAMS FOR RELIGIOUS HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT IN CENTRAL INDONESIA
Manado, (DBK)— On May 28, 2024, the Director General of Christian Community Guidance, represented by Amsal Yowei, Director of Christian Affairs, inaugurated two significant activities, marking a historic moment in the development of religious human resources in Manado and Central Indonesia.
The two activities are the Scientific Work Training for Christian Religious Instructors and the Internal Religious Dialogue in Central Indonesia, held in Manado.
The Director stated to the participants of the Scientific Work Training for Christian Religious Instructors in Manado that the purpose of this activity is to enhance the intellectual and scholarly abilities of Christian religious instructors to create and deliver high-quality scientific works relevant to contemporary challenges.
"I hope this training will open new insights and inspire Christian religious instructors to deliver religious messages more effectively and relevantly," said the director.
On the other hand, the director informed the participants of the internal religious dialogue that the event aims to strengthen relationships among religious communities and promote peace and tolerance between different religious groups.
The director expressed hope that this activity would serve as momentum to unite differences and strengthen unity.
The director stated that the Minahasan philosophy of "Torang Samua Basudara" can be adopted as a unifying concept.
"This also becomes a campaign for the importance of inter-religious cooperation in maintaining diversity and harmony in Indonesia," he added.
The director concluded, "Participate in both activities seriously. May God bless us all."
