MINISTER YAQUT ENCOURAGED CHRISTIANS TO CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS BY SHARING LOVE AND PEACE WITH EVERYONE.

Minister of Religious Affairs (Menag) Yaqut Cholil Qoumas said, "The meaning of Christmas that is always echoed is to live life with simplicity and share love, joy, and peace between fellow human beings in a way that serves and protects through positive and constructive actions."

The minister also reminded all believers, especially Christians, to experience peace as an atmosphere of harmonious and peaceful life in the relationship between man and God at Christmas this year. " This year's Christmas theme invites all of us believers to enter into God's saving work and welcome the Savior to experience peace in an atmosphere of peaceful living in harmony and peace, not only related to the relationship between man and God but also related to relationships. In short, he added,

"Not forgetting the spirit of Christmas must also move Christians and Catholics to actively participate in arranging the life of the nation and make the state more dignified to realize common prosperity."

In this national Christmas celebration, all heads of regional offices of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Indonesia were present at Graha Bethani Nginden. He also invited the community to gather and ask God to always be given the strength to maintain brotherhood in the midst of irreconcilable differences. Because equating everything is impossible," he said.

The Minister of Religious Affairs hopes that, in front of the more than 25,000 congregations present at Graha Bethani Nginden, all Christians who celebrate Christmas this year will always be overcome with happiness, and Christmas will bring peace to Indonesia.
