DIRECTIONS FROM THE REGIONAL HEAD AT THE EVENING ASSEMBLY OF THE MINISTRY OF RELIGIOUS AFFAIRS, WEST PAPUA
On Friday evening, the Regional Head of the Ministry of Religious Affairs for West Papua Province, Luksen Jems Mayor, led an evening assembly attended by Civil Servants (ASN) in the office environment. Luksen Jems Mayor conveyed several important points in his speech. He expressed his gratitude to all Heads of Divisions, Sub-Department Heads, and ASNs for their hard work and commitment. He hoped that everyone would continue to perform their duties in accordance with applicable regulations and complete their responsibilities well while maintaining security and diversity.
Luksen also emphasized the importance of disseminating information about the work being done to the public. To maintain harmony, information about diversity should be promoted through the office's media channels. Additionally, mapping current issues in various technical fields should be created so that the public can understand and follow developments. Luksen conveyed instructions from the Minister of Religious Affairs regarding online gambling to prevent employees from engaging in such activities. He stressed that there is no reason to seek additional income through improper means as the salaries and allowances received are sufficient. He believes online gambling can have negative effects, including criminal actions.
Luksen also appreciated the hard work of the ASNs who have contributed to community events such as the Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran (MTQ) and the Church Choir Festival (Pesparawi). Additionally, he highlighted the importance of regular health check-ups conducted by the Dharma Wanita women's organization. On this occasion, Luksen discussed office security issues. He emphasized the importance of managing security, especially during holidays when security guards are not present. It is hoped that vigilance and good security management can prevent unexpected incidents.
The evening assembly concluded with a prayer for the health, unity, and teamwork of all employees in carrying out their duties. He extended his thanks to everyone for their attention and efforts.
