PASTOR GREG LOCKE AND FAMILY WILL NOT RETURN HOME AFTER GUN ATTACK
Controversial Tennessee Pastor Greg Locke has revealed that he and his family will not return to their home following a brutal drive-by shooting that occurred over a week ago. In the incident, which lasted only a few seconds, an unknown shooter fired 60 bullets at Locke's house and truck.
The shooting took place on the night of September 4, and authorities are still investigating the incident with no injuries or suspects apprehended so far. Wilson County Sheriff’s deputies who arrived at the scene found dozens of shell casings around Locke’s home.
Locke, who leads Global Vision Bible Church in Mount Juliet, spoke to his congregation last Sunday. He described the moment as "surreal" and explained how he and his family were delayed returning home on the night of the shooting. He believes that God slowed their journey, thus protecting them from direct harm. When they arrived home, they initially thought there had been minor vandalism but soon realized their house had been attacked by gunfire.
Locke insists that the shooter acted in an organized manner, involving multiple vehicles. Security footage shows that just one minute after the shooter fled, his wife arrived with their children and grandchildren.
Although there were no injuries in the incident, Locke says the threat of retaliation has made them unwilling to return home. To date, the Locke family has not been allowed to return, and they have chosen not to go back for their safety.
Police continue to investigate the incident, but no arrests or suspect identifications have been made.
