CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION OF PAPUA PROVINCE PKK TP AT GKI GETHSEMANI KASUKWE CHURCH, SARMI REGENCY

Sarmi Regency SARMI—the Papua Family Welfare Development Team (TP PKK) celebrated Christmas 2023, especially at the GKI Gethsemani Kasukwe Church, South Sarmi District, Sarmi Regency, on Thursday morning, November 30, 2023. The celebration, conducted separately, involves widows, the elderly, and orphans in Sarmi district, known as the "city of 1000 waves." Linda Onibala, head of the Papua PKK, expressed her hope for the opportunity to celebrate Christmas in Sarmi Regency, as a change from the previous implementation that had an impact in the provincial capital. He expressed his hope that keadilan TP PKK Papua there can support its related efforts in Sarmi Regency to continue to coordinate in implementing community and family empowerment programmes in the region. "More specifically, in an effort to reduce stunting rates if this continues to be our concern in supporting the golden generation of Papua in 2045," added Linda. Imelda Mansnembra, Chairman of the Sarmi Regency PKK, hopes that the relationship that has been established with the Papua PKK can continue. This is expected to improve the performance of PKK programmes in the future, with a positive impact on the people of Sarmi Regency. The Christmas celebration of TP PKK Papua with TP PKK Sarmi, involving widows, the elderly, and orphans, carries the theme "Thanksgiving to God and peace on Earth." On that occasion, Linda Onibala gave 500 food packages to widows, the elderly,and orphans. In addition, there are also 300 clean and Healthy Living Programme packages (PHBS), baby loads, and additional loads of 25 pieces each for posyandu after completion. All of these activities can be carried out to make a real contribution to improving the welfare of the people of Sarmi Regency.
