An American youth ministry group stated that in the last fiscal year, more than 7,800 young people accepted Jesus as their Lord.

Youth for Christ, a national parachurch group based in Englewood, Colorado, recently released its 2023 ministry report. This represents a 7% increase from the 7,323 young men who received Christ through his ministerial work during the years 2022–2023.

Youth for Christ Ministries "engages young people ages 11 to 19 wherever they are to uncover God's story of hope in their stories through authentic relationships, shared experiences, outdoor adventures, mentoring, small groups, and more."

The ministry states that more children share their beliefs with their peers, reporting an increase of 25% compared to 2022. In addition, there was a 26% increase in newly believing children who began what is referred to as a 3-story faith relationship with their peers (3,027).

The report's "Summer Review" section points out that the ministry is "re-directing our resources to train and equip all of our 130 branches to provide local travel based on what their young people need."

We are already seeing evidence that our new approach encourages more children to visit YFC camps and do each chapter throughout the mission. The report states, "We can't wait to see what God does during the remaining school year."

Jake Bland, CEO and President of Youth for Christ, stated, "Generation Z seems to be much more open to discussions about faith among their peers than previous generations."

Bland added, "They live YFC's' 3Story way of life', and it is this rising young leader metric that is our full concern. It is clear that this is a strategic opportunity the Lord has created for ministries such as YFC and our Kingdom partners."

Bland stated that the 2,907 children who participated in the ministry "became multipliers of Christ's hope" because of "God's faithfulness.".

Bland stated, "At YFC, we don't celebrate numbers, space, or scale; we celebrate how Christ moves. It's more than just numbers—every number has a name, and every name has a story."

Jesus continues to call us to pray earnestly and trust him as the Lord of the harvest, the solution to every soul and story, even though the harvest is ripe among this generation.

Youth for Christ emerged from various youth evangelistic demonstrations in Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States in 1944. Reverend Billy Graham was the organization's first full-time employee.
