The project was worked on by Michael Winans and 5-0 Studios. London traces the history of the family for more than five generations over two centuries. A press release sent to the Christian Post called it one of the "greatest stories" in gospel music.

The series begins in North Carolina in 1805 and moves through Gloster, Mississippi, before finally arriving in Detroit, Michigan. It will reportedly tell the story of Louis and Ruby Winans, the ancestors of the family, from their time of slavery until they were freed.

The storyline will feature the struggles of Louis and Ruby Winans, their faith, and the magical journey they follow with their 13 children. The television series aims to show the emotional strength and religious devotion of the Winans family, with particular emphasis on Louis Winans, who was given his last name by Reverend Winans, a farmer-owner who produced produce.

More than 100 talented music artists from around the world are expected to collaborate on a serial soundtrack project that will portray the musical heritage of the Winans family.

The press release states, "The " Thank You" Series reveals how the Winans surname is related to the glory of God's blessing."

More than 50 Grammy Awards went to the Winans family, who are respected in the Christian and mainstream music industries.

Marvin, Carvin, Michael, and Ronald are the four brothers who make up the quartet "The Winans." They began recording in 1981 and quickly gained popularity for their modern gospel sound. The group blended contemporary R&B and soul influences with traditional gospel music, and they won numerous Grammy Awards.

Two other family members, brother and sister BeBe and CeCe Winans, formed a duo and achieved significant success in secular and religious music. The duo is best known for their crossover appeal, allowing a wider audience to enjoy gospel music.

Singer CeCe Winans gave birth to her first grandson, Wyatt, in 2021, to her daughter Ashley Love. Winans told The Christian Post that being a grandmother reminded her that God is truly "God from generation to generation."

He said, "When you become a parent, you get real revelations about God's love." "When you become grandparents, you get a different wave of life." You know how important everything is in this world and how it will impact young children. Singing gospel music is something very honorable for me. I am truly blessed because I believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ. And I am glad that God has become God from generation to generation and remains faithful. I'm sure Wyatt, my grandson, will be fine.

He later said, "The greatest thing my parents gave me was my faith, to teach me the word of God, and to introduce me to Jesus. The greatest thing I give to my children is my faith. And I just want to keep sharing it—the power of God's word, the power of God's love—and we get the opportunity to do it generation after generation."

Winans, who has performed with many prominent Christian and mainstream music artists, including Whitney Houston, stressed the importance of maintaining a strong and ongoing relationship with Jesus as well as a relationship with the local church. He is also a twelve-time Grammy Award winner.

Being an artist is not easy, despite the glamorous look. It is very important that you connect with him and not just sing a song somewhere else. Because you will face difficult times, you want to be anchored in God's word. You want to be anchored in your home church.

As artists and young people, we believe that singing gospel music does not require us to go home to church. That's not accurate. I could preach about it all night. We always pour, so you need to be where you can pour. Relationships define your identity.
