LITURGICAL CALENDAR JUNE 2026, CATHOLIC CHURCH FEASTS AND FEASTS
Jakarta – The Catholic Church has set a liturgical calendar for June 2026 which contains a series of obligatory celebrations, feasts, and commemorations of saints as well as the Church's great feasts. This calendar is a guide for the faithful to attend Mass and reflect on the meaning of each celebration throughout the month.
On June 7, 2026, the Church celebrates the Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ, one of the important moments to commemorate the real presence of Christ in the Holy Eucharist. Followed by June 12, 2026, the people commemorate the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus which invites the people to reflect on Christ's great love for humanity.
A number of big parties also fall at the end of the month. June 24, 2026 is celebrated as the Feast of the Birth of Saint John the Baptist, the prophet who prepared the way for the coming of Jesus Christ.
