INAUGURATION OF THE YPK PRINCIPAL IN TANAH PAPUA JAYAPURA,

On December 6, 2023, a historic inauguration ceremony took place at the Golden City Hall building of the Argapura YPK Office, Jayapura. This event marked the appointment of three new principals for SD YPK Paulus Dok V, SD YPK I Senasaba, and SMKS Lachairoi Kotaraja. This inauguration is an important moment for Yayasan Pendidikan Kristen (YPK), showing their commitment to improving the quality of education in the Land of Papua. Chairman of BP YPK, Mr. Joni Y. Betaubun, S.H., M.H., officially inaugurated the three principals. In his speech, Mr. Betaubun emphasised the importance of quality education and the role of principals in guiding and inspiring students.

He also expressed hope that the new principals can bring positive changes and innovations to the education system in YPK schools. The inaugurated principals have diverse backgrounds and experiences, but all share the same vision of advancing education in Papua. They are expected to bring new enthusiasm and fresh ideas to managing the school, as well as apply effective educational methods to create a conducive learning environment for students. The inauguration was attended by various figures from education, government, and local communities. They expressed their support for the new leadership and hoped to see positive developments in education in Papua. With this change in leadership, YPK hopes to continue to contribute to improving the quality of education in Papua, in line with their goal of educating the nation's life and advancing the Papuan people as a whole.
