Mowanemani, Suarapapua.Com— To raise awareness of the presence of special schools (SLB) in Meeuwodide, especially in Dogiyai Regency, the board of the Global National Education Foundation, together with SLB PNG Sinar Kasih Dogiyai, held a joint worship service on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. This activity began with the process of teaching and learning (KBM) in SLB educational institutions and PKBM PNG Cahaya Kamukabi under the auspices of the PNG Foundation.

Principal of SLB PNG Sinar Kasih Dogiyai, Enias Anou, S.Pd.K., M.Pd., stated that many children with special needs are displaced in the Meepago region, especially in Dogiyai district, and the presence of SLBs provides an opportunity for parents who have their children with special needs to send their children to organized SLBs.

Enias stated that the educational institutions he leads are ready to provide education to children with disabilities from Dogiyai Regency and the surrounding region.

According to him, with the presence of this SLB, every child who has special needs such as being blind, deaf, disabled, or autistic can enter school without charge because it has free access to every level of both SDLB, SMPLB, and SMALB until graduation.
