Macron praised the "complex operation" that brought seven tons of supplies to the enclave. UN humanitarian aid coordinator The United Nations stated that the public health system collapsed, and after three months of war, people went hungry.
French President Emmanuel Macron said Friday that as Israel continues its offensive to eliminate the terror group from the Gaza Strip, France and Jordan are working together to deliver seven tons of aid to civilians and aid workers there.
Macron wrote on X (previously on Twitter), "In a difficult context, France and Jordan are sending aid by air to the population and those who help them." He stated that, after three months of conflict, humanitarian conditions in Gaza are still critical.

Macron's office stated that the "very complex operation" took place late Thursday, stating that close ties between the French and Jordanian militaries made it possible.
The president said that each country sent a C-130 transport plane with a mixed French-Jordanian crew carrying seven tons of "humanitarian and health"
French President stated that the supplies dropped by France and Jordan were equipped with a system that directed them remotely to the Jordanian field hospitals operating in the region.
The Elysee stated that Thursday's mission "allows us to show that such an operation is possible," but it was unclear if it would happen again.
Jordan has carried out previous airstrikes on Gaza with the help of the Israeli military.
The war came after the Hamas terror group carried out a massacre on October 7. About 3,000 terrorists overran Israel from Gaza, killing about 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and taking more than 240 hostages, mostly civilians. In reaction, Israel committed itself to destroying Hamas and began a massive military campaign in Gaza with the aim of destroying Hamas military power and government.
On Thursday, the Hamas-led health ministry in the Gaza Strip stated that at least 22,600 people had died in the Gaza Strip since the war began on October 7. The figures provided by Hamas do not distinguish between civilians and fighters, and they also include Palestinian casualties killed by erroneous rocket fire from Gaza. Israel claims to have killed 8,500 terrorists since the war began.
The UN estimates that 1.9 million Gazans—85% of the pre-war population—were displaced because Israel asked them to leave the fighting area. Despite efforts to get more aid, there are shortages of food, water, fuel, and medicine. On Friday, the United Nations humanitarian chief declared that Gaza has become "uninhabitable" "three months after Hamas' horrific attacks on Israel, and the public health disaster continues."
According to Martin Griffiths, "people are facing the highest levels of food insecurity ever recorded, and hunger is imminent."
In addition, he stated that Gazans "are witnessing daily threats to their very existence while the world continues to watch."
The UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs said that as temperatures fell, families slept in the open and that the area where Palestinians were asked to move had been bombed.
He stated that some hospitals were overwhelmed and undersupplied, infectious diseases were spreading, and about 180 Palestinian women were giving birth every day amid the chaos.
"It is time for the international community to use all its influence to make this happen," Griffith said, reiterating the UN's demand for an immediate end to the war and the release of all hostages.
He stated that the humanitarian community faces an "impossible mission "to support the more than 2 million people in Gaza while aid workers are killed, communication outages continue, roads are damaged, truck convoys are shot at, and vital commercial supplies are virtually nonexistent."
According to Griffiths," the worst of humanity" has been seen in Gaza after the war ended.
Israel has accused the UN of not helping more aid trucks into Gaza.
Last month, the IDF stated that it believed humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip were reasonable given the conditions. They also want to prevent a major crisis that would harm Israel's legitimacy to continue its operations in the Gaza Strip.
Israel has shown evidence that Hamas stole some of the humanitarian aid provided to Gaza civilians.
The Times of Israel staff was the ones who made the report.
