CALIFORNIA CHURCH HOSTS EGG HUNT AND 20 EASTER SERVICES

A grand celebration will take place at The Rock Church, a large multisite church based in California with five campuses in California and one in Hawaii, as they get ready to welcome the celebration of Easter with grandeur. The church, which has about 7,500 regular worshippers, will hold no fewer than 20 services over the Easter weekend and Good Friday, as well as a spectacular egg hunt with 20,000 eggs on the Saturday before Easter. Rock Church Senior Pastor Miles McPherson provided details about this celebration to the Christian Post, explaining that the service will be held on every church campus and will include special messages celebrating the crucifixion on Good Friday and the resurrection on Easter Day. With six campuses involved, the number of devotionals will greatly increase. However, the highlight was the Easter Egg Hunt held on Saturday at Rock Church Point Loma. The event is attended by the whole family and is expected to attract thousands of people, including many young children who are eagerly looking for eggs hidden around the church area.

Pastor McPherson explained that this Easter Egg Hunt is not only a pre-service activity but also a way to bring people together in the Easter spirit and to remember the fundamental gospel message. He hoped that those present could truly understand the meaning of Christ's resurrection and the values contained in these messages. In addition to the egg hunt, these weekend services will also feature original music from the Rock Church worship team and a special sermon from McPherson herself. In a press statement, McPherson shared her personal testimony of how her conversion has drastically changed her life, encouraging people to not only accept Jesus with blind faith but also to seek out faith-affirming evidence. With the thrilling spirit of Easter, Rock Church is ready to welcome thousands of people who come to celebrate and reflect on the true meaning of Christ's resurrection, making this weekend a historic and blessed moment for the congregation and the community at large.
